A Princess Mini-Album

I made this cute little book for my little niece Seana.  I used Paper Doll Dress Up,  and George and Basic Shapes, on my Gypsy to create this fun little character book.

Challenge 33: Make a page featuring your favorite movie quote

Take your favorite movie line and design a layout around using it.  Have fun!

(Use your favorite book quote if you don't have a favorite movie line.)

Here's my finished challenge #32

This challenge was just that, challenging.  I've never used the banners or pennants yet on a page and nothing was coming to mind for this creation.  Until, this morning, I woke up, went to get the laundry moving and an idea finally came to me.  Pfeww!  That was a relief, and I really like how it turned out.  I used the Cricut for most of the page.  The Pennants are from "Country Life" and the owls are from "Straight from the Nest".  The banner is from "Black Letter".    I had the banner in my Gypsy for some time and when I searched for the cartridge used nothing came up, so I have no idea which cartridge it was from.  Oh well.  I used DCWV's Green Stack for the paper and the plain colored cardstock is from Close To My Heart.  I love those "GOOGLY" eyes!

FINISHED Challenge #31

I finished my page for challenge #31.  I took my inspiration from this book:
I played with making photo mosaics.  It looks much better in person, but I tried to capture the detail in the photos below.  The first photo is the page I took the idea from and then my finished page with some detail photos.  I used the Cricut "Walk in My Garden" cartridge for the watering cans, which I love how they turned out.

CHALLENGE 31: copy a scrap-booking idea out of a book or magazine and share both

Ok, so for this challenge, I'm thinking it would be fun to copy an idea or a layout out of some scrapbooking resource.  A magazine, a book from the library, or maybe something from the internet.  Try a new technique or something.  Just have fun!  Please share your resource with us.

A Mother's Day Card!

I made this card using my cricut and the "Bloom" cartridge.  The words "Happy Mother's Day" were from a different cartridge (ooops, I can't remember which one)  I just did a search on my Gypsy and chose one of those that popped up.
